Renee Nicole Good should be alive. A week ago, ICE took her life.
Within hours of the shooting, federal officials branded Good, a Minneapolis mother of three, a “terrorist” and claimed that she had “weaponized her vehicle” against an ICE agent—despite multiple videos and eyewitness reports that overwhelmingly contradict those claims.
The FBI has taken exclusive control of the case, refusing to let Minnesota state investigators see the evidence—video clips, witness interviews, and other case files. After being denied access to evidentiary material, the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension said that it cannot conduct a thorough investigation and withdrew from the probe. But the state attorney general and the county district attorney have opened a new case.
Our members of Congress must demand that federal authorities hand over all evidence in the case so that officials in Minnesota can seek justice for Good.

Hi, I'm a constituent from [your zip code]. My name is [your full name].
I’m calling because of the fatal ICE shooting of Renee Nicole Good in Minneapolis. President Trump and DHS Secretary Kristi Noem have loudly proclaimed that Good was a domestic terrorist who weaponized her vehicle. Now the FBI is refusing to give state authorities access to the evidence—video clips, witness interviews, and case files. This is unacceptable. It smells like a coverup. We can’t trust the FBI under its current leadership to conduct an impartial investigation.
I urge Senator [Padilla or Schiff] to call for accountability in the murder of Renee Good and to demand that the Department of Justice release all evidence in the case and cooperate fully with Minnesota investigators.
Thank you for your time and attention.
For most of us, that’s Sam Liccardo. If you are not sure who your U.S. representative is, go here.
