THURSDAY, JULY 3, 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM
The onslaught of news, the chaos coming out of the White House—it’s all meant to overwhelm us.The antidote: Coming together in community to process what’s happening, to sift through what’s important and what’s just noise, and coalesce around strategies for fighting back.
Join Indivisible co-founders Leah Greenberg and Ezra Levin each week, as we carve out an hour to discuss what’s happening and—more importantly—what’s the plan.
FRIDAY, JULY 4, 10:00 AM
Join the Dancers for Democracy and Indivisible Portola Valley at the Redwood City July 4th Celebration. Each year, 20,000 people attend this parade. Let’s show them what democracy looks like! Dress in red, white, and blue, and dance to patriotic protest songs performed by Ronny Crawford and the Supernaturals.
Note: Signs and protest clothing are not permitted. But attendees can carry flags and raise their voices in joy and resistance.
Indivisible Portola Valley is also hosting a song practice and hat-making event on July 2. Contact organizers for more information.
