WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 21, 4:00 PM – 5:30 PM
Palo Alto is ground zero for the push by Elon Musk and other broligarchs to take over our democracy. And there’s no better place to protest that takeover than at local Tesla showrooms.
Join us for a peaceful demonstration along El Camino Real, near the Palo Alto Tesla showroom. Our goal is to call attention to Musk’s corruption and to resist the MAGA assault on our rights, our safety, and our well-being.
THURSDAY, JANUARY 22, 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM
The onslaught of news, the chaos coming out of the White House—it’s all meant to overwhelm us.The antidote: Coming together in community to process what’s happening, to sift through what’s important and what’s just noise, and coalesce around strategies for fighting back.
Join Indivisible co-founders Leah Greenberg and Ezra Levin each week, as we carve out an hour to discuss what’s happening and—more importantly—what’s the plan.
FRIDAY, JANUARY 23, 11:30 AM – 1:30 AM
Join us for a provocative, compelling display of street theater! As part of a national campaign to highlight key elements of a fascist state, the IPA+ Signs of Fascism team is hosting a series of silent vigils in high-visibility areas of Palo Alto.
Participants should dress completely in black. Organizers will provide signs for them to carry—signs that list emerging indicators of an authoritarian takeover.
