Join us for a festival on No Kings Day where together we will lift our spirits and claim our power. We will sing and dance. We will raise our signs—and our voices. We will connect with our neighbors. In defiance of the kingly pretensions of Donald Trump and his authoritarian regime, we will celebrate our rights as democratic citizens.
Back in the day, El Camino Real was also known as “the King’s Highway.” But on this day, thousands of us will turn the street into the No Kings Highway.
🗓️ Saturday, March 28
🕑 2 PM – 4 PM
📍 El Camino Real, between Embarcadero Road and California Avenue

No Kings Street Fest activities will take place on sidewalks and adjacent areas along a one-mile stretch of El Camino, with concentations of musical acts and actions stations near Embarcadero Road and on Califorinia Avenue. Participants should feel free to start at either end of the Street Fest area, or anywhere in between.

More than a dozen musical acts—from a wide range of genres—will perform along the Street Fest route.

At stations along the Street Fest route, activists will present compelling, innovative ways to make an impact.

The Street Fest will feature an array of activity stations where attendees can connect with each other, learn something—and have fun.
What began in 2025 as a single day of defiance has become a sustained national resistance to tyranny. On March 28, rise up, take to the streets, and say it loud: No thrones. No crowns. No kings.
Street Fest activities will take place on sidewalks and adjacent areas along El Camino Real between Embarcadero Road to California Avenue. Sidewalk protest will be welcome in that area—and across all of El Camino. Bring your best sign! Wear a costume!
Celebrate our freedom to say:

No Kings Day is all about leveraging the power of democratic participation. Everyone has a part to play! To put on the No King Street Fest, we’ll need a wide array of volunteers. If you can lend a helping hand and a generous heart, we want to hear from you.

A core principle of our movement is a commitment to nonviolence. We expect participants to deescalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with us and to act lawfully at all times.
.
So, on No Kings Day, remember: DO NOT ENGAGE. In any potential confrontation, let our peace ambassadors—the volunteers in yellow vests—handle the situation.
Across the San Francisco Peninsula, Indivisible and allied groups will be hosting protest events along El Camino Real on March 28.
Organizers in San Francisco will also be hosting major events on March 28.
